Black stripes on white?

Damit hier nicht die ganze Zeit Funkstille herrscht, während ich in Las Vegas bin, zeige ich euch heute ein Outfit, das ich vor ca. 2 Wochen getragen habe, als es mal ein paar Tage nicht ganz so warm war. Die Bluse hat zwar lange Ärmel, ist aber ganz leicht und luftig. 
Es stellte sich mir  nur die Frage, ob sie nun schwarze Streifen auf weißem Grund hat oder weiße Streifen auf schwarzem Grund (so ähnlich wie bei den Zebras!)...? Also ich bin dabei zu keinem Ergebnis gekommen ;-)!

Today I show you an outfit I wore about 2 weeks ago. I love this blouse, it has long sleeves, but is really light and breezy to wear, so it´s perfect for not too warm summer days! 
I just couldn´t help but wonder: Are there black stripes on white ground or just the other way around (the same problem you have with the zebra)...? To be honest, I still have no idea! ;-)

Ich liebe maritime Outfits, sie sehen immer frisch und irgendwie nach Urlaub aus! Den Rock habe ich schon ganz lange und liebe ihn bis heute. Das ist der Vorteil bei zeitlosen Teilen, die kann man auch nach Jahren wieder aus dem Schrank holen und sie gefallen einem immer noch. Und die Boots sind für mich genau so zeitlos, die gehen echt immer und zu jeder Jahreszeit! :-)

I love maritime outfits, they always look fresh and remind me of vacation! The skirt is a quite old piece in my closet, but I still love it because it´s a really timeless style. And the boots are really all-season for me as well, I could wear them every day!

Ich erzähle euch ja nichts neues damit, dass der "Sommer" uns hier in Deutschland bisher wirklich nicht viel Gelegenheit bietet, Sonnenbrille und Ballerinas zu tragen. Heute hat es hier den ganzen Tag geregnet und es sind nur 13 Grad (ich überlege ernsthaft, die Heizung anzustellen...)!
Ab sofort macht mir das aber nicht mehr ganz so viel aus, weil mein Liebster und ich jetzt endlich Urlaub gebucht haben! Wir sind immer recht kurz entschlossen und das war auch dieses Jahr wieder so, aber jetzt haben wir uns für einen Ort entschieden, der auf jeden Fall warm und sonnig sein wird: Es geht Anfang August für 2 Wochen nach Las Vegas!! 
Wir waren ja letztes Jahr schon einmal kurz dort und wollen uns nun die Stadt und die Umgebung (also z.B. Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam usw.) noch einmal genauer anschauen. 
Ich freu mich schon total und kann es kaum erwarten, endlich richtig Sommer zu haben, am Pool zu liegen, abends im Trägerkleid durch die Stadt zu bummeln und Cocktails zu trinken!

Good News: My sweetheart and me decided that we have to spend our holidays at a place with a summer feeling, where we can wear sunglasses! So we´re going to Las Vegas at the beginning of August! I´m so excited and can´t wait to spend some time at the pool, wear summer dresses and have cocktails!

Ich liebe dieses Kleid, weil es: 
1. super sitzt und bequem ist!
2. bunt ist (ich habe mir ja vorgenommen, mehr Farbe zu tragen)!
und 3. weil ich mir ein bisschen so vorkomme als ob ich Missoni trage :-))!

Ich hoffe, ihr hattet ein schönes Pfingstwochenende und wünsche euch eine schöne (und was die Arbeitstage betrifft, schön kurze...) Woche!


I love this dress, because:
1st it fits perfecty!
2nd it is colorful (and I really try to wear more colorful clothes!)!
3rd when I wear it I feel just a little like I wear Missoni :-))!

Ein einfaches Outfit, aber ich mag es! Das Karo-Hemd ist super zu kombinieren, und zu Jeans passt es natürlich besonders gut. Die Tasche gibt dem ganzen einen etwas schickeren Touch und macht den Look auch abendtauglich (zumindest für Kino und Essen gehen...). 
Ich wünsche euch eine schöne Woche, bestimmt genießt ihr die Sonne genauso wie ich!

It´s a simple outfit butI like it! The shirt matches perfectly with nearly everything, but especially with jeans of course. The bag upgrades the outfit a little and so I also made an evening with it as well!

Und immer noch Strick statt T-Shirt, aber diesen Cardigan trag ich immer noch gern, obwohl gefühlt schon seit einem halben Jahr jeden dritten Tag... 

Aber für das Wochenende sind grilltaugliche Temperaturen gemeldet!! Yeay!

Still knitwear instead of T-Shirts, but I still love this cardigan, even though I really have worn it many times in the last month... 

But they have forecasted summer temperatures for the weekend!! Yeay! 

Love-hate relationship

Meine dicke Winterjacke und ich - es ist eine Hassliebe, die uns verbindet ;-). 
Immer, wenn ich sie anziehe, bin ich heilfroh, dass sie mich so schön warm hält und super passt. 
Gleichzeitig denke ich jedes Mal: Wenn ich sie doch nur im Schrank lassen und ohne Jacke raus könnte! 
Aber wenn schon Winterjacke, dann auf jeden Fall diese, ich möchte sie nicht missen!

My winter jacket and me - it´s a love-hate relationship we have ;-). 
Everytime I wear it, I´m so glad that it keeps me warm and fits perfectly. 
At the same time, I´m thinking about how great it would be leaving the house without it!
But if I have to wear a jacket, I would always choose this one again!

Hier seht ihr mein Outfit für einen Mädels-Abend letzten Samstag. Das karierte Hemd hab ich auch im Sale ergattert und bin echt froh darüber! Wir waren lecker essen in einer Tapas Bar in Mülheim ("Pinchos" heißt der Laden und ist wirklich nett und gut!). Ich liebe ja Tapas und könnte die ganze Karte bestellen! 
Allerdings stellte sich heraus, dass Rock und Leggings nicht die beste Wahl sind, wenn man im Anschluss zu einer Cocktail-Bar weiterzieht, die ca. 15 Laufminuten entfernt ist... meine Beine waren Eiszapfen, als wir ankamen!

Here is my outfit from a girls night out last saturday. I got the checked shirt on sale and I´m very happy about it! We had dinner at a Tapas Bar at Mülheim (called "Pinchos"), which is very cosy and serves great food! I really love Tapas because you can order so many different items and try everything!

Wenn es so kalt ist wie aktuell, bleib ich ja gerne mal einen Nachmittag im warmen Shopping-Center. Wenn es nach mir ginge, könnte es jetzt auch langsam wieder etwas wärmer werden... der Schnee ist ja schön, aber ich bin definitiv ein Sommer-Mensch und frier bei der Kälte zu sehr!

When it´s cold outside like these days, I love to stay inside the warm shopping mall! Actually, for me, winter could be over right now, though I love snow, but I´m freezing all day!
